Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov are now set to throw down in the main event of UFC 229 on Saturday for the UFC lightweight title. That being said, UFC superstar Nate Diaz is hardly interested in the match up.
Nate Diaz shocked the world when he choked out “Notorious” on short notice back at UFC 196. In their rematch, McGregor edged out a close majority decision victory over the Stockton native. While Diaz has never faced Khabib Nurmagomedov inside the octagon, the two fighters once had a scuffle outside the cage.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Nate Diaz has now come forward with his thoughts on the upcoming fight between McGregor and Nurmagomedov.
“I ain’t pulling for nobody,” Diaz said, before revealing how he hopes the bout will end. “Double knockout as far as I’m concerned.”
Having already “slapped the sh*t out of both of ’em,” Diaz exclaimed “They need to quit acting like them f–kers are running s–t. There’s one king of this motherf–ker, and he’s right here.”
