UFC superstar Nate Diaz was initially set to make is massive octagon return against tough lightweight contender Dustin Poirier at UFC 230. The two talented mixed martial artists were set to co-headline the night’s event.
The fight card went a sizable amount of time without a headliner, leading to negotiations about Nate Diaz potentially headlining the card in a fight for an inaugural 165 pound world title. However, negotiations ultimately fell through.
Rather, Daniel Cormier and Derrick Lewis are now headlining the event in a heavyweight title fight. Dustin Poirier would later pull out of UFC 230 after suffering an undisclosed injury.
UFC President Dana White has since claimed that Nate Diaz has been consequently removed from the fight card entirely. Now taking to Twitter, Nate Diaz has a new message for the UFC President.
UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov attacked Conor McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis directly after submitting “Notorious” at UFC 229 on Saturday. A fracas quickly ensued between the fight camps of the two competitors.
Nurmagomedov’s teammate Zubaira Tukhugov has since been banned from the UFC for allegedly leaping into the octagon and attacking Conor McGregor during the brawl. Now it would appear that the Stockton native has decided to share a few words on the incident.
