UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov shocked the world on Saturday. Now the reigning champion has received some strong words from the none other than the Russian President himself.
Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Conor McGregor on Saturday back at UFC 229. After his performance, the title holder quickly exited the octagon and attacked McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis. A fracas later ensued between the fight camps of the two competitors.
Later speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Khabib Nurmagomedov received some interesting advice. Putin said, “Of course if someone attacks us from the outside, then all of us, not just you, can attack them – and there will be hell to pay.”
