It finally happened. Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov finally faced off against mixed martial arts megastar Conor McGregor.
UFC 229 went down inside the octagon on Saturday, Oct. 6, live on pay-per-view. Headlining the night’s card for fight fans around the world, Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov faced off in a battle for division supremacy.
Nurmagomedov choked out “Notorious” within the fourth round for a submission victory. A fracas quickly broke out between Nurmagomedov and McGregor’s teams after the fight’s result, however.
