The highly anticipated fight card for UFC 230 has gone through quite a few changes as of late. That being said, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has now finalized the night’s card.
UFC 230 is set to take place Saturday, Nov. 3, from within the illustrious Madison Square Garden in New York. UFC superstar Nate Diaz was initially set co-headline the night’s event in a fight against UFC lightweight contender Dustin Poirier.
However, the fight has since been cancelled as Poirier pulled out of the match up after suffering an injury. Meanwhile, tickets for the event went on sale before a headliner for UFC 230 had even been chosen.
Sijara Eubanks was then set to fight Valentina Shevchenko for the vacant UFC women’s flyweight title in the main event. However, the UFC has since disposed of the match up and replaced it with the promotion’s final decision for a headliner. Two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier will be putting his heavyweight title on the line in a fight against talented knockout artist Derrick Lewis.
