The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has reportedly decided to dissolve the promotion’s flyweight division. Now the UFC has cut yet another competitor from the 125 pound weight class following the recent news.
The UFC recently traded former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson to ONE Championship, leading to rumors that the promotion is planning to do away with the entire weight class. Well, since then, UFC flyweight Jose Torres has been cut from the roster and claims that the UFC’s decision to abolish the division is to blame.
Now fellow 125 pound fighter Jarred Brooks has taken to the internet to announce that he has also been cut from the UFC roster. Check out Brooks’ full statement on the matter within the video provided above.
