Anthony “Rumble” Johnson Lists His Demands For A Possible Octagon Return | UFC News

Former UFC light heavyweight title challenger Anthony “Rumble” Johnson retired from the sport of mixed martial arts following a tough loss to reigning division champion Daniel Cormier back in 2015. That being said, it would appear that the former title challenger is interested in making a return to the octagon.

UFC News

Daniel Cormier has gone on to become the reigning light heavyweight and heavyweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Meanwhile, former UFC light heavyweight title holder Jon Jones is set to make his octagon return following a 15-month suspension at UFC 232.

Taking to Facebook, Anthony Johnson has come forward to reveal that he is interested in returning to the octagon. However, “Rumble” only wants to return to the UFC if he can compete within the heavyweight division. Furthermore, Johnson claims Jon Jones must fight Daniel Cormier for the heavyweight title first.

Check out the former title challenger’s original statement down below.

“Yes it’s true that I’ll come back to mma at heavyweight, but only if Jon fights DC for the title! It’s a personal goal of mine to fight the very vest of the best before I truly stop fighting. Jon was always my motivation once I went to 205. Heavyweight would be insane if the 3 of us were at it again!”
