UFC News
UFC women’s flyweight Sijara Eubanks was seemingly furious after the UFC elected to cancel her fight against Valentina Shevchenko for the vacant women’s flyweight title. The two were initially set to headline UFC 230.
The main event was eventually replaced with a heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier and Derrick Lewis. Meanwhile, Eubanks was bumped down to the preliminary card in a match up against Roxanne Modafferi.
The official weigh-ins for the event were today and Sijara Eubanks missed weight for the fight by a total 1.2 pounds. Taking to Twitter, recently signed UFC welterweight Ben Askren has now decided to share some heated words with the fighter.
Check it out below.
“Crazy amount of immaturity. First acts immature about not getting main event at 3-2. Then doesn’t do her job and make weight. Time to grow up and be a pro.”
