UFC Fight Night 139 is set to take place this Saturday, Nov. 10, from within the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Initially featured on the night’s card, UFC flyweight Ray Borg was set to face off against Joseph Benavidez.
As reported by MMA Junkie’s John Morgan, however, Ray Borg has since cited an injury and has consequently been pulled from the match up. The bout has since been cancelled.
Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar was initially set to headline the card in a fight against Chan Sung Jung. However, Edgar has been pulled from the fight after citing an injury of his own. Chan Sung Jung will now face Yair Rodríguez in the night’s headliner.
UFC Fight Night 139 has lost three other fights along the way as well. Now Ray Borg’s cancelled fight and Frankie Edgar’s removal have made for even more big hits to the upcoming card.
