Two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier is set to defend his heavyweight title from talented knockout artist Derrick Lewis at UFC 230 on Nov. 3. “The Black Beast” has since come forward to claim that Daniel Cormier is dodging longtime rival Jon Jones by facing him at UFC 230.

Speaking at the recent UFC 230 open workouts, Daniel Cormier decided to refute Derrick Lewis’ recent claims.
“I was never offered the fight against Jon Jones. Nobody told me to fight Jon Jones. I think Derrick has said it, himself, openly that some of the things (he says) you take with a grain of salt, some of the things you believe what he’s saying. He’s just bull(expletive) on that one.”
