The highly anticipated fight card for UFC 230 is taking place tonight from within the illustrious Madison Square Garden in New York. Live on the night’s main event pay-per-view, two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier is putting his heavyweight title on the line in an octagon war against talented knockout artist Derrick Lewis.
Daniel Cormier put on a dominant performance in the first round. Getting his opponent to the canvas early on, D.C. began pummeling “The Black Beast” with tough ground and pound.
The second round was a short one. Daniel Cormier once again managed to get his opponent to the canvas. This time, however, D.C. sank in a rear-naked choke submission finish.
