Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted mixed martial arts megastar Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229 on Saturday, Oct. 6. Nurmagomedov then leaped out of the octagon and attacked McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis.
The incident sparked a fracas among the two apposing fight camps. Nurmagomedov and McGregor have since been ordered to appear at a NSAC hearing on Dec. 10, 2018 to determine whether the two fighters’ provisional suspensions will be prolonged or ended.
As stated within the agenda on the commission’s website, Dillon Danis and four other fighters are now set to appear at a disciplinary hearing on Nov. 14 to determine the possible extension of the fighters’ temporary suspensions.
Zubaira Tukhugov, Abubakar Nurmagomedov, Rizvan Magomedov and Esedulla Emiragaev will be joining Dillon Danis for the hearing.
