The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has lost its main event for the promotion’s big debut broadcast on ESPN+. That being said, Yoel Romero wants to save the card by taking on a mixed martial arts legend.

The UFC is scheduled to host a fight card on Jan. 19 in Brooklyn, New York. The event will make for the first UFC fight card to be hosted on ESPN+, as per the recent $1.5 billion broadcast deal made with the sports entertainment titan.
As reported by ESPN, Yoel Romero was expected to face off against Paulo Costa in the night’s headliner. However, Costa has since pulled out of the fight after having suffered an injury.
Now Yoel Romero is calling out former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva to accept a fight against him for the event’s big headliner. Silva has yet to reveal an interest in the match up, however.
