Rumor: UFC To Add Much Needed Weight Class To Men’s Divisions

A new rumor is rising concerning the weight classes of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). It would appear that the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is potentially interested in adding a new division for male competitors.

A new rumor suggests that the UFC is considering a new division. Rather than adding another class for female competitors, the promotion would be adding a 165 pound men’s division.

Check out MiddleEasy’s report of the rumor below:

“Huge if true, but it looks like the UFC is once again looking at adding another weight class but this time it would be in the men’s division. A 165 pound belt is the leading contender to be added by 2019 with 195 pounds (AKA Franklin weight) also a leading contender to add more titles to promote in the mix.”
