The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is making the final preparations for the promotion’s next big night of fights. This time around, former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum decided to kick things up a notch at the recent ceremonial weigh-ins for the event.
The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion will be in London, England on Saturday night, March 17, for UFC Fight Night 127. The exciting event will go down inside the O2 Arena and is set to feature a series of exciting match ups.
Headlining the night’s show, former title holder Fabricio Werdum will go going toe-to-toe with Alexander Volkov. The two mixed martial arts warriors had their final chance to stare down at the recent ceremonial weigh-ins for the event.
During the weigh-ins, Werdum decided to bring a chair. In professional wrestling fashion, the former champion acted as if he was going to strike his opponent in front of the entire crowd.
However, Werdum pulled away at the last second and simply placed the chair in front of his opponent. The fighter then stood upon the chair to look down at his enemy for the final staredown.
