Former women’s UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has not competed inside the octagon since going on a two fight losing streak back in 2016. Following her knockout loss to Holly Holm and TKO defeat to Amanda Nunes, Rousey has since locked in a contract with professional wrestling titan WWE.
Now Rousey is set to make her WrestleMania debut. The former UFC title holder will be joining Kurt Angel for a tag team match up against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34.
Speaking on Rousey’s new role in the WWE, Bellator heavyweight Chael Sonnen revealed that he believes the former UFC champion is getting some heat from her fellow female professional wrestlers.
“She’s getting a little bit of heat from the girls in the back for some of these same things. She’s coming in and not doing the heavy lifting.” Sonnen stated.
