Ultimate Fighting Championship made their way back to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada for “UFC 209: Woodley vs. Thompson II”. The main event saw Tyron Woodley squeeze by with a majority decision win over Stephen Thompson in a bout that left fight fans thirsty for blood. The lack of action in the headline bout brought on a chorus of boos from the crowd, but Woodley executed his gameplan perfectly and walked out without any injuries.
Alistair Overeem put Mark Hunt to sleep in the first fight of the main card, setting the pace for an exciting pay-per-view. Hunt may have taken the loss, but he was paid handsomely for his services by the UFC. Check out the fighter payouts below:
