After a successful stint on TUF as a welterweight, Australia’s Robert Whittaker would eventually move up in weight to the UFC’s middleweight division.
Ever since making the jump up, Whittaker has look virtually unstoppable, and is already the only man to hand Yoel Romero a loss inside the UFC’s Octagon.
With a rematch looming over both fighter’s heads, Whittaker believes that their upcoming scrap is the one where Yoel Romero starts to show his age.
Romero, a Cuban Olympian, will enter the cage at 41 years of age. Whittaker on the other hand is just 27 years old.
In a new feature titled “Road to Recovery”, Whittaker kicked off the war of words with his upcoming opponent, stating, “It’s hard, the dude just keep fighting, he’s tough. I’m looking forward to having an exciting fight with Yoel, it’s gonna be another war. But I think this fight will be the fight that shows his age.”
