Georges St-Pierre is a mixed martial arts phenom. The 37-year-old former two-division UFC champion has forced his way into the conversation as one of the greatest competitors the sport has ever seen.
With that in mind, St-Pierre is seemingly not a fighter that will simply accept any match up. Speaking with longtime UFC commentating veteran Joe Rogan on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, St-Pierre revealed that he is only interested in accepting fights that excite him.
Consequently, the fighter explained that he enjoyed taking on challenges concerning things that have not been done before. Among them, Joe Rogan offered the possibility of St-Pierre fighting UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
After all, “The Eagle” has yet to be defeated in his mixed martial arts career. Better yet, within 26 match ups, Nurmagomedov has yet to lose a round to an opponent.
When asked about the possibility of facing Nurmagomedov, St-Pierre stated “Khabib could be.” For the fighter’s full thoughts, check out the video above.
