Brazil’s UFC Fight Night 106 was an exciting display in its own rite. Yet, some of the night’s most unexpected entertainment was going on behind the screen.
UFC Middleweight Champion Michael “The Count” Bisping and now retired UFC veteran Yves Edwards were set to analyze the night’s event. A little awkwardness landed on set when Edwards was asked about Bisping’s upcoming title fight against Georges St-Pierre. When asked who will win between Bisping and Georges St-Pierre, Edwards didn’t hesitate. “My Money is on GSP.” Edwards remarked, with a wry smile on his face.
Bisping indignantly responded “Thank you. Moving on.”
An official card has not been set for the Bisping vs. St-Pierre match-up, but rumors have been circulating that the fight will make its way to this summer’s Cody Garbrandt vs. T.J. Dillashaw TUF event.
