Tragedy struck Las Vegas on Oct. 1, 2017 when a shooter opened fire on a crowd of concert goers, killing 58 people and leaving another 851 injured. Former UFC fighter turned Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Josh Haynes was on the scene at the time and rescued a fellow officer from the incident.
Officer Brady Cook was shot twice in the tragedy. Haynes acted fast to transport Cook away from the scene, tend to the officer’s wounds and get Cook medical attention. A graphic video provided by police camera footage of the incident may be viewed below.
