The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is always on the lookout for new and exciting fights. With that in mind, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion has now locked down two new match ups for upcoming fight cards.
UFC 227 is a live pay-per-view event set to take place Saturday, Aug. 4, from within the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. Headlining the night’s event, UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw will face off against former title holder Cody Garbrandt in a highly anticipated title fight rematch.
During the Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series broadcast on UFC Fight Pass this Tuesday, it was announced that middleweight Thiago Santos will be facing off against Kevin Holland on the night’s card.
UFC 228 is another live pay-per-view event. Set for Sept. 8, the fight card will take place in Dallas, Texas. The UFC has since officially announced that lightweight Jim Miller will be facing Alex White on the night’s card.
