Recently, former two division UFC champion Georges St-Pierre stated his interest in fighting the winner of the upcoming Khabib vs. Conor McGregor UFC 229 main event.
The UFC Boss though, has other plans, as he recently and decisively, shut down any notion that GSP will face his lightweight champion, regardless of who that may be after UFC 229.
During a Tuesday Night media scrum, the UFC president stated, “That’s probably not going to happen. He gave up the 170-pound belt. He gave up 185-pound belt, you know what I mean? It’s like no, pick a division.”
