Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor is now gearing up for his next big octagon performance. With that in mind, a new photo of the Ireland native showing off his fighting form has revealed that “Notorious” is seemingly ready and in shape.
Conor McGregor has not competed inside the octagon since back in 2016. Since then, “Notorious” has been stripped of his featherweight and lightweight UFC titles for inactivity. McGregor then went on to face undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2017, ultimately earning the payday of his career after suffering a TKO defeat to “Money” Mayweather.
Now “Notorious” is set to fight undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov for his title. The two talented mixed martial artists will battle it out in the main event of UFC 229, live on pay-per-view Oct. 6.
