UFC women’s flyweight champion Nicco Montano will no longer be defending her title from former UFC women’s bantamweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko this weekend. That being said, two other talented mixed martial artist have already come forward to call out “Bullet.”
Montano and Shevchenko were initially set to throw down in the co-main event of UFC 228. The live pay-per-view event is set to take place this Saturday, Sept. 8, live on pay-per-view.
However, Montano was rushed to the hospital on Friday after suffering kidney issues during her weight cut. As a result, Montano vs. Shevchenko has been cancelled for UFC 228’s co-headliner.
UFC fighters Montana De La Rosa and Katlyn Chookagian have now come forward over Twitter to reveal that they are ready to take on Valentina Shevchenko if need be. Check it out below.
