Mixed martial arts megastar Conor McGregor finally made his massive octagon return on Saturday, Oct. 6. However, the octagon battle hardly ended at the stop of the contest.
“Notorious” faced off against undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov for the main event of UFC 229, live on pay-per-view for fight fans around the world. Nurmagomedov submitted McGregor in the fourth round, before leaping out of the octagon and sparking a fracas between the two opposing fight camps.
