Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov faced faced off against mixed martial arts megastar Conor McGregor back at UFC 229. Nurmagomedov shocked the world with a dominant performance, ultimately submitting “Notorious” within the fourth round.
Nurmagomedov then immediately leaped out of the octagon and attacked McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis. The incident sparked a brawl between the two opposing fight camps.
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s coach and father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov has since revealed that he plans on punishing the UFC champion over the incident. Khabib Nurmagomedov has since issued a video over the internet featuring himself training in the mountains of his native Dagestan with his father.
“This guy don’t let me sleep.” Nurmagomedov said. “He say, ‘Get up, we have to go training.’ I say, ‘I am tired. I training last three months. I sleep in the gym. Please, let me sleep.’ But, he said ‘no way.'”
