Back at UFC 205, welterweight Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone was set to face former champion Robbie Lawler. But, the fight was ultimately scrapped. With C.B. Dollaway having been pulled from UFC 203 due to an injury, “Cowboy” decided to throw his hat into the ring for UFC 203.
Dolloway was injured directly after the weigh-ins for UFC 203, leaving Cerrone no time to land a fight. But, UFC President Dana White has proof that the fighter tried to compete on eight hours notice.
