Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones as an ongoing feud with the current champion, Daniel Cormier. The two have been going at on Twitter a few times now. But, this time, Jon Jones has decided to take things to a new level.
In a recent Tweet, Daniel Cormier had this to say about Jon Jones. “He won’t. He doesn’t have that ability. He never has. Even when he juiced his way to deadlifting 600lbs he couldn’t KO Ovince,” Cormier said. Jon Jones was suspended for an anti-doping violation just prior to UFC 200.
Now, Jon Jones has fired back. “do you really think I took steroids or is that just another thing you tell yourself to sleep better after I made u forever my (expletive),” Jones said.
Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier last met inside the octagon at UFC 182, in which Jones took home a unanimous decision victory. Prior to their fight they quickly became one of the UFC’s biggest rival stories in history. Most infamous for their pre-fight brawl in the MGM Grand lobby.
The former champion is now nearing the end of his USADA enforced suspension, bringing the fighter back into the title fight conversation.
