UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson made history at UFC on FOX 24, just two weeks ago. Submitting Wilson Reis in the night’s main event, “Mighty Mouse” scored his tenth consecutive title defense. The feat tied Johnson with Anderson Silva for the most consecutive title defenses in the promotion’s history.
That being said, the night did not entail all that Demetrious Johnson had hoped. Prior to the event, “Mighty Mouse” voiced that he has not received a championship belt for every title defense he has made. Traditionally, UFC champions are awarded a belt for each defense.
Following the statement, UFC President Dana White made a claim that the champion would receive his belts. However, it would appear that “Mighty Mouse” is still waiting.
Demetrious Johnson is an avid live streamer of video games, as he does through his Twitch channel. The UFC champion recently posted a clip of his gaming to YouTube, where a fan posted a comment concerning the missing belts.
Johnson replied to the fan, letting him know Dana White “hasn’t delivered (expletive) yet.”
