A brawl between UFC lightweights Michael Chiesa and Kevin Lee took place Friday during the UFC Summer Kickoff Press Conference.
The two fighters began their conversation with Lee showing Chiesa respect. However, things got heated between the two rather quickly.
Lee eventually mentioned Chiesa’s mother. Lee comments infuriated Chiesa, and he began yelling at Lee and said, “Don’t talk about my (expletive) mother.”
Lee continued his trash talk and Chiesa stood up from his chair and rushed towards Lee. Once Chiesa made his way across the stage, Lee threw a punch and the two fighters were quickly separated.
Both Chiesa and Lee were then escorted out of the press conference.
Chiesa will fight Lee in the main event of a UFC Fight Night event on June 25 in Oklahoma City.
