After being pulled from UFC 200 for an anti-doping policy violation, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones alleged that the failed drug test was due to the use of a male enhancement drug. Now, Jon Jones has decided to double down.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held the UFC Summer Kickoff Press Conference yesterday. For the event, the former UFC light heavyweight champion was in attendance. After the conference, Jon “Bones” Jones answered some questions backstage.
After being asked if fans should be cautiously optimistic of the former champion appearing in his next event, following the incident of UFC 200, Jon Jones responded “Nope. I have a prescription to Cialis now. I won’t be taking any off-brand (expletive) pills.”
Jon “Bones” Jones is set to face reigning champion and rival Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 on July 29. The event will take place inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
