On Saturday, at UFC 211, former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar picked up a major win over prospect Yair Rodriguez.
Edgar dominated Rodriguez for the entirety of their fight. For two rounds, Edgar put his opponent on his back and pummeled him with vicious ground-and-pound shots.
Rodriguez’s eyes generated so much swelling by the hand of Edgar that the referee and doctor agreed that the fight needed to be stopped in between the second and third rounds.
The world of social media was not shy about sharing their thoughts about Edgar once again proving his prominence in the UFC featherweight division.
If yair doesn't get finished this round he'll get comfortable next round lol
