UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping was emotional over the recent terrorist attack in Manchester, England.
On Monday, a suicide bomber detonated a bomb outside of an Ariana Grande concert. Over 20 people were killed. Many of the people who passed were children and teenagers. A girl as young as 8-years-old was among those who died.
“My prayers and thoughts are with everyone in Manchester, certainly the victims,” Bisping said. “I shed a tear the other day when it happened. It’s just disgraceful. There are no words for the horror and the violence. It’s just disgusting.”
Bisping continued by saying more actions need to be taken to prevent events like this from happening. The UFC champion believes people being politically correct is getting in the way of protecting people.
“I think when we’re seeing children getting blown up at concerts it’s time to put political correctness out the (expletive) window,” Bisping said. “It’s time to take steps and assure that innocent people aren’t murdered. Whether or not people get offended, that needs to be secondary.”
