Joe Rogan was not in the arena to watch Max Holloway win the UFC Featherweight Championship on Saturday at UFC 212.
Instead, Rogan hosted a Fighter Companion podcast, with Eddie Bravo, Bryan Callen, and Brendan Schaub, while watching the fights.
Rogan, and all of his guests, screamed and freaked out as Holloway defeated Jose Aldo to become UFC champion.
“That’s it! OHHHH!” Rogan screamed as the fight was stopped. “Max ‘Blessed’ mother(expletive) Holloway. Holy (expletive). Holy (expletive)
Holloway and Aldo fought in one of the most highly anticipated featherweight fights in UFC history. For the first two rounds of their fight, Aldo and Holloway fought back and forth. It even appeared Aldo got the better of his challenger.
However, in the third round, Holloway dropped Aldo with a brutal combination. Holloway then pummeled him on the ground until the referee was forced to stop the fight.
