The highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor is already getting unprecedented news coverage when it comes to combat sports.

On Wednesday, both Mayweather and McGregor confirmed that the two will be competing against each other in a dream boxing match.

McGregor has managed to talk Mayweather into coming out of retirement to fight the UFC champion in the boxing match. Mayweather retired from the sport almost two years ago with an undefeated record of 49-0.

McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut when he steps into the ring with the boxing legend. However, McGregor is on a two-fight win streak in the UFC and is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport.

Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
