Longtime mixed martial arts commentating veteran Mike Goldberg was let go from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) after the sale of the mixed martial arts promotion to WME-IMG. Now, the cage side color commentator is preparing for his cage side debut for the competing promotion Bellator MMA. However, that does not seem to have stopped the UFC from using the commentator’s voice in their promotional videos.
UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes is set to defend her title from rising challenger and former opponent Valentina Shevchenko in the main event of UFC 213 on July 8. In promotion for the event, the UFC has released a highlight real video concerning the two fighters. However, the footage features commentating from former UFC employee Mike Goldberg.
