One of the most lethal strikers in the UFC has offered to help Floyd “Money” Mayweather prepare for his upcoming fight against UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
UFC welterweight prospect Mike Perry sent Mayweather a tweet offering to spar with him.
“I think some sparring with me would be good for your fight against Connor. Hit me up,” Perry tweeted at Mayweather.
After being retired for almost two years, Mayweather is returning to the sport to fight for the 50th time in his legendary career. Mayweather will put his perfect 49-0 record on the line against the UFC champion.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Saturday, August 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Perry has a 10-1 MMA record with all of his wins coming by knockout or TKO. He is coming off a knockout win over longtime welterweight contender Jake Ellenberger. Perry also has experience competing in boxing as a professional.
