Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight Travis “Hapa” Browne faced off against Alexey Oleynik at last night’s UFC 213. However, the fight did not end in his favor. Now the UFC president is suggesting that Browne hang up his gloves.
Travis Browne suffered his fourth consecutive defeat inside the octagon with last night’s second round submission loss to Alexey Oleynik. In the UFC 213 Post-Fight Press Conference, UFC President Dana White explained that he believes Browne should retire.
As transcribed by Bloody Elbow, Dana White explained “The guy looked like he would be a world champion. And this is just one of those sports, you never know. One minute you’re absolutely unbeatable and unstoppable, and the next minute you can’t win a fight. … I think that Travis should retire.”
