Artem Lobov Accepts Gray Maynard’s Challenge To Fight

UFC featherweight Artem Lobov is willing to fight former UFC title challenger Gray Maynard.

Last Saturday, at UFC 213, Maynard picked up a featherweight win over Teruto Ishihara. Maynard looked like his old self in his latest fight and dominated Ishihara for three rounds using his superior wrestling ability.

After his win, Maynard called out Lobov in his post-fight interview.

“You dont have to ask me twice, lets do it!!” Lobov said on Twitter after being called out.

Lobov is coming off a loss in the UFC, but that loss may have also been his best performance inside the Octagon.

In April, Lobov lost a five-round decision to featherweight contender Cub Swanson. Despite losing, Lobov proved that he can hang with the absolute best in the UFC’s featherweight division.

Lobov is also a training partner of UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor. He is currently helping the UFC champion prepare to make his professional boxing debut. On Aug. 26, McGregor will fight Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
