UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor keeps finding himself in trouble due to comments that can be viewed as racist.
McGregor is currently on a world press tour to promote his upcoming fight against Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
It appears each day McGregor keeps saying something that crosses the line when it comes to race.
On Tuesday, during the first press conference in Los Angels, McGregor said, “Dance for me, boy” while Mayweather was shadowboxing on stage.
McGregor also said some racial terms while doing an interview that appeared on Jimmy Kimmell Live. The UFC champion was asked who would win in a fight between him and Rocky from Rocky III.
“Rocky III?” McGregor said. “I’m trying to remember which one was Rocky III. Was that the one in the celebrity gym? I can’t remember if that’s the one with the dancing monkeys or not.”
McGregor didn’t stop there. On Thursday, during the press conference in New York, McGregor claimed to be half black. He said he is black “from the belly button down.” He then proceeded to gyrate on stage for all his black female fans.
McGregor is scheduled to make his professional boxing debut against Mayweather on Aug. 26 in Las Vegas.
