On Sunday, the UFC returned to Glasgow, Scotland for a special afternoon edition of UFC Fight Night.
A welterweight fight between Danny Roberts and Bobby Nash headlined the preliminary portion of the card.
Roberts landed a high kick early in the fight. Nash struggled to land early in the fight. Robert’s kicks appeared to land at will. Later on, Nash began to land kicks of his own. Nash later landed a takedown. Roberts fought win way to his feet and began swinging at Nash, who used Robert’s aggression to get him back to the ground. The round ended with Nash in the dominant position.
Nash opened the middle round with kicks. Early in the round, Roberts was the aggressor, but Nash still managed to land strikes as well. Nash later landed a low blow which caused a pause to the action. When the action continued, Roberts went for a takedown but wasn’t successful. Nash then took Roberts’ back. Roberts managed to escape and knocked Nash out with a punch.
