In Glasgow, Scotland, many fighters shined on MMA’s biggest stage and earned the biggest wins of their career.
In the main event, Santiago Ponzinibbio defeated Gunnar Nelson to move from prospect to contender in the UFC welterweight division.
In the first round, Ponzinibbio landed a brutal punch that knocked Nelson out early in the fight.
UFC lightweight Paul Felder also earned one of the biggest wins of his career when he knocked out Stevie Ray with devastating elbows on the ground.
Both Ponzinibbio and Felder earned an extra $50,000 dollars from the UFC for their impressive performances on Sunday.
Two fighters who competed during the prelims also earned an extra $50,000 for having the “Fight of the Night.” Danny Henry and Daniel Teymur fought in a back-and-forth battle that saw Henry earn a unanimous decision win.
