Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. has pulled himself out of retirement to step back into a boxing ring. This time, the boxing phenom will be taking on a different kind of opponent. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is gearing up to throw down with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor.

The two fighters will face off on Aug. 26 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, the two have already met face to face, with a brawl nearly breaking out.

During the recent press conference world tour, both fighters moved from city to city to answer media questions, exchange heated trash-talk and enter a few staredowns. During one of the events, Floyd Mayweather Jr. had his bodyguards surround Conor McGregor, nearly causing a brawl with McGregor’s teammates.

As reported by mlive.com, Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s bodyguards appear to be more than simple security for the fighter.

The news source recently reported that Mayweather’s bodyguards make a grand $150,000 a year in salary for protecting the fighter.
