UFC megastar Conor “Notorious” McGregor is gearing up to face off against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Aug. 26 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, the two fighters have already begun their confrontation.
To promote the epic cross-promotional match up, Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. recently embarked on a press conference world tour. During the tour, the two competitors took part in a few staredowns and exchanged some heated trash-talking. Now, UFC President Dana White has come forward with his thought on McGregor’s trash talking.
During a media scrum, the president explained that McGregor is similar to Muhammad Ali.
“I haven’t seen a mental warfare game like this since Ali. This guy is like the Irish Ali. You don’t ever want to start comparing somebody to Ali. You just don’t do it. But, when you look at this kid, there is nothing like him, since Ali.” White stated.
