The UFC has released two new promos for the main event of UFC 214.
On July 29, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier will defend his title against former champion Jon Jones.
On Thursday, the UFC shared two new promos called “Pain” and “Respect.”
“Pain” is a promo dedicated to Jones. In the video, which can be seen below, Jones reflects on his journey to try and regain his UFC title.
“Respect” is dedicated to Cormier. In the video, which can also be seen below, Cormier talks about earning Jones’ respect.
“Don’t feel sorry for me. I don’t want your pity. What I’m going to take is your respect,” Cormier said.
Cormier and Jones have been involved in one of the most heated rivalries in MMA over the past few years. In less than two weeks, both fighters will get the opportunity to fight each other once again inside the Octagon.
UFC 214 will take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
