UFC President Dana White has revealed what is next for former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre.
During Wednesday’s press conference for UFC 214, White said St-Pierre will fight the winner of the upcoming title fight between UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley and Demian Maia.
Woodley vs. Maia will serve as the co-main event of UFC 214, which takes place on Saturday.
Even though St-Pierre has said on numerous occasions he wants to fight UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping, White says that ship has sailed.
St-Pierre has not fought in the UFC since 2013. He took a break from the sport following his ninth consecutive title defense.
St-Pierre’s UFC return is rumored to take place in November at the UFC’s next pay-per-view event at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
During Wednesday’s press conference, Woodley said St-Pierre doesn’t want to fight him.
“If you win on Saturday, it’s going to be you, pal,” White told Woodley about who will fight St-Pierre next.
