Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino will receive an immediate rematch should she lose her title fight on Saturday.
At UFC 214, “Cyborg” will finally get her opportunity at winning UFC gold. She will fight Tonya Evinger for the vacant UFC Women’s Featherweight Championship.
During a recent interview, Evinger revealed that her fight contract states that Justino will get an automatic rematch should Evinger pull off the upset and win the UFC title.
For the past decade, Justino has been the most dominant female fighter in the world. Her already illustrious career has been highlighted by winning the Strikeforce and Invicta featherweight championships.
Evinger is also no stranger to winning championships. She was recently the Invicta bantamweight champion. She relinquished the title in order to fight in the UFC.
UFC 214 will take place July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. In the main event, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier will defend his title against former champion Jon Jones.
