On Saturday, the UFC put on one of their most stacked cards in history at UFC 214 in Anaheim, California.
Former UFC title challenger Ricardo Lamas headlined the preliminary portion of the card. Lamas fought featherweight prospect Jason Knight.
Lamas landed a jab and a low kick to start off the fight. Lams went for a takedown, but Knight turned it into a guillotine attempt. He escaped and took Knight to the ground. Knight was very active off of his back. Lamas managed to keep Knight on the ground, but Knight managed to force Lamas off of him for brief periods. Knight went for a leg lock which allowed him to get to his feet. Lamas unloaded on Knight on their fight with punches. Lamas rocked Knight, but he somehow managed to stay on his feet. Eventually, Lamas got Knight to the ground and finished the fight by TKO.
