Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Miesha “Cupcake” Tate is truly living up to her nickname.
On Thursday, Tate posted photos of herself making cupcakes on her Instagram account.
“Experimenting with these new Russia Frosting Tips & a few other techniques! I like it!!” Tate wrote on her Instagram page.
Tate appears to be enjoying her time away from the sport of MMA. In November, Tate retired from the sport following a loss.
At UFC 205, Tate lost a decision to women’s bantamweight contender Raquel Pennington.
Tate retired from the UFC on a two-fight losing streak. In her previous fight, Tate lost her UFC title after being submitted by current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes in the main event of UFC 200.
Tate will go down as one of the pioneers of women’s MMA. Her career is highlighted by winning both the Strikeforce and UFC women’s bantamweight titles.
